Take 5ive: WIN to Host Conversational Lecture Party

Lectures just got a whole lot funner! WIN-Initiative announced today a new monthly conversational lecture party to be held at the WIN headquarters in SoHo on the first Thursday of every month.

10 guest speakers will each have 5 minutes (hence the Take 5ive title) to talk about whatever they choose. It’s like an open mic night for the photography industry! The first of the invitation-only mixer series will even include a performance by the Brooklyn-based experimental band Live Footage.

Hosted by Hans Neleman (and recorded, to be showcased and added to each new edition of WINk Magazine), the mixer series hopes to “inspire, unite and connect the photo industry through dialogue,” says the conversational lecture party creator Neleman.

The first event will be Thursday, December 3.
