Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate the launch of WINk Magazine’s eight issue, “Is it Art”!!
WIN’s party was so packed; it was hard to hear star attraction Jillette Johnson- who rocked the house with her beautiful music. DJ Szabo took over after that and people feared the floor would cave in with all of the grinding and dancing. Four cops (and a private investigator) tried to slow the party down, but Chrissy made sure they went away by offering them the WINkter Wonderland cocktail of the night. A mix of Bacardi Limon, cucumber, mint and cranberry. Many others left as dazed as Host Hans- who fled his own party before 11 pm.
On exhibit were posters from previous WINk covers. Photographers Bill Phelps and Tony Vaccaro all took home their respective posters at the end of the evening.
Those of you turned away at the door because of WIN’s full house, make sure to RSVP for the next WIN Event. Unfortunately, included in those who didn’t make it into the party were Psychedelic Furs lead singer and WINk Feature Artist, Richard Butler.
The evening was a huge success. Thanks to everyone for an excellent 2011, now onto 2012.
